Joel 2:25 – “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”
Devotional Thought:
There are seasons in life when it feels like time has been wasted—dreams delayed, opportunities missed, or resources lost. Yet, we serve a God who is not only the Creator of time but also the Redeemer of time. When He promises restoration, He doesn’t just give back what was lost; He multiplies it.
Israel had suffered years of devastation, but God said He would restore the years. This means He has the power to compress blessings, accelerate progress, and make up for lost opportunities in a way that defies human calculation.
Perhaps you feel like you are behind in life, but God can help you overtake. What took others ten years to build, He can give you in one. His restoration is total—spiritual, emotional, financial, and relational.
Today, stand in faith. No matter how much the “locusts” have eaten in your life, God is able to restore. Your new horizon is not empty; it is filled with divine compensation.
Prayer Point: Lord, restore every wasted year and missed opportunity in my life. Let my latter days be greater than the former.
Declaration: I declare restoration over my life. Whatever I lost in the past, God restores in abundance.
