Streams of Joy

Psalm 126:4–5 – “Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

Devotional Thought:
God is able to turn seasons of captivity into seasons of celebration. The Israelites, after years of exile, experienced restoration so profound that it felt like a dream. Their mouths were filled with laughter, and their tongues with singing.

Your tears are not wasted. Every seed of prayer, faith, and perseverance you’ve sown in pain will produce a harvest of joy. God promises that sorrow may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

When God restores, He doesn’t just give back what was lost—He multiplies it. He turns tears into testimonies and trials into triumphs. Even the pain you endured will serve as fuel for your praise.

So, do not despise your tears. Water your prayers with them, knowing they are seeds for joy. God is faithful to turn your mourning into dancing.

Prayer Point: Lord, turn my tears into joy. Let this season mark a restoration so profound that my life becomes a testimony.

Declaration: My weeping season is over. I reap a harvest of joy and my laughter is restored.
