Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
Devotional Thought:
When life feels uncertain, this verse anchors us in truth: God’s plans for us are always good. Even when circumstances look contrary, His thoughts toward you are of peace and not of evil.
The Israelites first heard this promise while in exile. They were discouraged, confused, and tempted to think God had abandoned them. But God reminded them that captivity was not their final chapter—He still had an “expected end” of restoration in store.
Likewise, no matter what season you find yourself in, God’s good plans are still at work. Delays do not mean denial, and detours do not cancel destiny. God is weaving even the hard moments into a beautiful tapestry of purpose.
This truth calls you to trust Him fully. Rest in His goodness, knowing He has already written the end from the beginning. Your future is secure in His hands.
Prayer Point: Lord, align me with Your good plans. Help me to trust Your timing, even when I cannot trace Your hand.
Declaration: I walk confidently in God’s good plans for me. My future is secure, and my expected end is glorious.
