“Isaiah 43:19 – “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
God is a master at new beginnings. From Genesis to Revelation, we see Him birthing new chapters—creation itself, Israel’s exodus, the birth of the church, and ultimately the promise of a new heaven and earth. Every time God says, “I will do a new thing,” He’s signaling that what He has for you is not a recycled blessing but a fresh outpouring.
Sometimes we resist new beginnings because the old feels safer, even if it was painful. Israel preferred the memory of Egypt’s onions and garlic to the uncertainty of Canaan’s promise. But God’s word to them, and to you today, is clear: “Do not cling to the old, I am doing something new.”
New beginnings are often hidden in wilderness seasons. God doesn’t wait until everything looks perfect—He makes rivers flow in deserts and creates paths where none existed. That’s why you must not despise this season, no matter how dry it looks. Beneath the surface, God is already working.
As you step into September, dare to dream again. Refuse to define your future by yesterday’s failures. Believe that this month is not just another page on the calendar but a fresh chapter in God’s story for your life.
Prayer Point: Lord, open my eyes to perceive the new things You are birthing in my life. Let me not miss the opportunities hidden in this season.
Declaration: I declare this month is my new beginning. I step into fresh opportunities, and nothing can stop the new thing God is doing in me.
