“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms.” – Ephesians 2:6
Your Place in Christ Is Secure
Many believers live as though they are still fighting to earn a seat at God’s table. Yet Scripture makes it clear—you are already seated with Christ in heavenly places. When Jesus rose from the dead, you rose with Him. His victory became your victory, and His authority became your inheritance.
This means you no longer live beneath fear, guilt, or shame. The enemy is not above you; he is beneath your feet (Luke 10:19). Because of Christ, your spiritual position is one of authority, confidence, and peace. You do not fight for victory; you stand in the victory that Jesus already won on the cross.
You Share in His Authority
When God raised Christ from the dead, He didn’t just restore Him—He exalted Him above every power, principality, and name that can be named (Ephesians 1:20–21). That same power now works in you. You share in His authority because you belong to Him.
However, authority does not mean arrogance. It means confidence rooted in grace. You do not need to fear the enemy’s schemes or the uncertainty of life. As long as you remain in Christ, you carry heaven’s backing in every battle.
Moreover, your authority gives you the courage to speak life over your situation. When fear rises, you can declare peace. When weakness tries to take over, you can speak strength. You are seated in a place of victory, not defeat.
Living from a Higher Perspective
Being seated with Christ changes how you see the world. You no longer react to problems from a place of worry; instead, you respond from a place of rest. The higher you sit, the clearer your view. From heaven’s perspective, what looks impossible on earth is fully possible with God (Matthew 19:26).
This awareness shifts everything. You start to pray with confidence, make decisions with peace, and face challenges with faith. Instead of trying to climb into victory, you start living from it. You are positioned above, not beneath, because of Christ’s grace.
Walk in Confidence, Not Fear
God never meant for His children to live in constant anxiety. The one who sits with Christ walks with assurance. You are not begging for favor; you already have it. You are not striving for acceptance; you are accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
Therefore, hold your head high today. You belong to the King. His victory defines your story, and His authority empowers your steps. Every challenge becomes an opportunity to display His strength through your life.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for raising me with You and seating me in heavenly places. Thank You for giving me victory and authority through Your name. Teach me to live with confidence, not fear. Help me to see every situation from heaven’s perspective and to walk boldly in Your grace. Amen.
